Ash and Eric were roommates their First Year at Earlham College in 2013. They’ve been steady friends every since. Ash grew up in Nepal, Eric grew up in Ithaca, NY. Ash majored in Physics and Computer Science.
At Earlham both were involved on campus in a wide variety of actives: combined they were involved in Earlham Student Government (ESG), Sound Technician for Events and Technology, Resident Assistant, and House Convener.
Eric majored in Biochemistry, received a Global Designation and Outdoor Education Designation. Both are very talented guitar players. They both now live in Richmond and enjoy their work (not to mention their post graduate life).
Ash works at Green Filings (co-founded by another Earlham Alumnus, Eric Eastman), located just off of Main Street. Eric works with Parks and Recreation refurbishing the run down greenhouses on Waterfall Road. This project is spearheaded by Traci Lewis (former Volunteer Coordinator for Cope Environmental Center)
- The Director of Infrastructure at the City of Richmond, Indiana by day, and author/writer, illustrator, game designer, publisher, and father the rest of the time. Cruse lives in Richmond Indiana with his spouse Eve A. Cruse (muse/model for illustrations of Tri~Sunaria, Tanaga, and Ra~Khana the Barbarian) and Father of four children of which the youngest graduated in 2017. Retired US Air Force 26 year Senior Manager in 2011 and worked at the Department of Defense in Europe for seven years currently the Director of Infrastructure & Development City of Richmond Indiana.
- His pen name, J William Cruse is the pseudonym under which he does all his creative world creation. As the President/Project Manager of Somewhyn Game Solutions, Cruse is focused on the company’s growth as well as helping others realize their dreams. Somewhyn Game Solutions’s (SGS) business model is to publish all current and future game ideas into Tabletop Role-playing Games (TTRPG), Strategy Games, Miniatures Games, Board Games, Dimensional Chess Games, Toys and Collectable Card Games, Comic Books, Graphic Novels, Book Series, Social Media, TV Series and Movies.
- His professional writing, illustration and game design career in 2015 with the self-publication of his first run Tabletop Role-playing Game (TTRPG) Free WORLD, and soon followed by Tri~Sunaria A New Frontier. At GENCON 2016 he made his first public appearance and published/sold the PRIMEVAL Tri~Sunaria GENCON Special Edition. He has been drawing and illustrating since third grade where this story was initially drafted in comic book form. He started designing the BDGRP CORE Rules/Game mechanics in 1993; which sprawled into Somewhyn Game Solutions (SGS) the parent title brand for Anywhen Game Studios, The Beer Drinkers Guide to Role-Playing (BDGRP), The Land of Myrth and other future projects currently under development or planned in draft form. He is a quintessential polymath as Author, Illustrator, and Game Designer of the BDGRP Game Engine as well as many others in development.
